I take this opportunity of writeing you a fiew lines in anser to your of may the 13th whitch I was glad to receive & learn you was all well we are all well nas common & I hope Those fiew lines will come to hand soon & find you all well connection is all well so far as I kow I went up to see aunt amanday & John this morning but they was not at home I left the letter at fathers they will get it in a day or two well unkle Milton I hav not got mutch of intrust to write to you …. hav had a very …. time … for the last four weeks people is badly behind with their crops low land is nearly ruined wheat crops is sorry here this year hardly half a crop flour $3.00 per hundred bacon 16 ½ cents per pound corn 50 cents bushel well I would be glad to see you & talk with you I would be glad you would come & see us all yu hav a good many connections her in this country you could see if you would come you spoke of my coming to that country I hav though for a loung time that I would love to … in s..e country where small grain was more shure crop than it is here & were the wether was not so chaingable I think sutch sudden changes as we ofton hav here is one great cause a heep of sickness we hav in these country but as I hav ofton heard it said that is two far from home I don't expect to ever see that country I don't think that I would be satisfied if was their I do not doubt but what people is mutch healthier stouter than they are here well I will close for this time exceasuse my bad writing I hav ben laboring … cant write mutch so … as so… you get this so no more only I remain your nephew
